If you chose Version 2, you are correct!
Version 2, with a 99.97% probability of outperforming Version 1, received a 30.12% increase in conversion. Since the image was the only change that was made, these results indicate to us that it was at the root of the major conversion rate boost.
Although we can’t say with 100% certainty why Version 2 received the increase, here are a few of my speculations:
- The image of James Wedmore may have boosted the product’s credibility with visitors.
- Version 2 includes James’ signature, providing clarity as to who was behind the product.
Imagery can sometimes impact conversions in a major way. In this test, that was certainly the case.
