Hello, everyone. My name is Clay Collins and in this episode of the Marketing Show I’m going to be giving you the world’s best Double Opt-in Confirmation page. I’m going to show you how it works, I’m going to show you why it works, and I’m going to be offering you the opportunity for us to redesign one of your landing pages. That’s what you have to look forward to in this episode of the Marketing Show.

So, recently I’ve been talking till I’m blue in the face, I’ve been going on and on and on and on and on about how design is the new copywriting. Let me show you what I mean. I’m going to opt-in here and after I click on instant access, so after I opted-in it brought me to this page, it says: “Hang on just one more thing left to do: One, check your e-mail; two, find the one from us; three, click on the confirmation link; and four, get all the bonuses that we just sent to your inbox.”

Now, this is effective, right? Some people will do this. Let me show you how we took this exact same copy and using design made this a much higher converting process. So here’s the re-design of this page that we’re giving to you. It’s the exact same copy. Hang on, just one more thing left to do check your e-mail and when people actually click on these links it takes them to Gmail, to Hotmail, to Yahoo mail where they can click on the confirmation link, right?

Step two, find the one from us. Step three, click on the confirmation link. And four, get all the bonuses that we just sent to your inbox, right? So exact same copy, right? On this page the exact same copy on this page. Which one do you think converts higher? Well, this is a no brainer, this one converts better and this is actually a page that you can download below, there’s a link right below this video where you can download this, no opt-in required, free of charge. But this is just to illustrate the power of design when you keep copy the same but you up the ante with your design you can get dramatically better results without being a better copywriter. Let me show you a second example.

Here is our old LeadPlayer sales page and it looks okay, right? It was good enough. We sold a lot of copies of LeadPlayer with this sales page, but we re-designed it without changing much copy at all, there is almost no change in copy. However, this sales page is out converting this sales page and this one is beating it by 57%, again, primarily design changes. So my point here is that you don’t have to be a dramatically better copywriter to get dramatically better result if you have good design and the design that is created from the ground up to increase your conversions.
So now, I have two things to tell you about. The first is, that you can go ahead and download that Double Opt-in Confirmation page below, it’s here it’s available for free it’s our gift to you. The second thing I have to tell you about is that we are offering a handful of people a landing page redesigned so we’re going to take I don’t know maybe five people not a lot of people, we’re going to be somewhat selective about this. And we’re going to redesign their landing page with no copy changes whatsoever, so you don’t need to rewrite anything, we’re just going to take one of your existing pages and we’re going to redesign it for you for higher conversion.

We’re going to guarantee — guarantee you at least a 25% increase in conversion. Now, for most businesses if you can get a 25% increase in the number of leads that you get into your business that means a 25% growth in your business that year, so we’re guaranteeing 25% increase. Now, you should know that there’s going to be a nominal fee considering how much work will be involved. So we’re probably going to lose money on this, but there is going to be a nominal charge, but we’re doing this because we have other motivations which you’re going to find out about if we decide to work with you. And just to reiterate we won’t redesign your landing page, we won’t work with you if we don’t think we can get you a 25% increase in conversion rate because we’re going to guarantee that 25% increase.

    I have a question about one of the pages (webinar reg.) that you shared in past but seems like for some reason I can’t comment on that page.. Anyway..

    What I would like to know is how do you integrate your webinars registrations with aweber list?

    And also how do you use that custom webinar page. I mean when I create a webinar go to webinar creates a page for me so how do you use the custom page instead of go to webinar’s page?

    Can all these be done by lead pages?

    • All this can be easily done with LeadPages.

      If you’re not using LeadPages, it becomes a lot more difficult to answer your question: there are lot of intricacies that I can’t easily post in a blog comment.

      My suggestion is to contact AWeber support and let them support their product.
