We’re marking a small template milestone today: our first testimonials page.

It’s a popular type of landing page, and it’s one that many customers have been asking for. In fact, it’s on our list of most-requested templates.

So why has it taken this long to add a testimonials page to our template library?

Partly because the average testimonials page isn’t a big source of conversions.

Most businesses tuck their testimonial page away on a separate tab of their site, or put a few testimonials at the bottom of the homepage.

If you’re using that approach, it probably isn’t hurting you. But the glowing testimonials you worked so hard to collect probably aren’t doing a lot for your bottom line there, either.

So we wanted to make sure we didn’t create an average testimonial page design. In fact, you may not want to think of this template as a testimonials page at all. Think of this as a sales page . . . that happens to rely on testimonials to make the sale.

Let’s take a look at the elements that went into this testimonial page design.



Multimedia Testimonials

One of the key strengths of this page is that it lets you present your testimonials in whatever form makes the most sense for your business and your customers. The template has space for 6–10 testimonials in each content section, depending on the format, and you can hide whatever you’re not using.

So while this template comes with space to show off great videos, you don’t actually need to have a stock of testimonial videos to use it. In fact, you can even hide the large top video section and skip straight to the product section below it.

Here’s a closer look at the different kinds of testimonials you can use:


Hero Video

If you have one knockout video testimonial, put it here! If you don’t have a single standout clip, you can easily use this space for a different kind of video. Try . . .

  • A “highlights reel” of happy customers giving a quick endorsement. (Even something as simple as “I love this place!” can be very effective when repeated by a string of smiling customers!)
  • A supercut of the best parts of all your video testimonials
  • A video introduction to your business as a whole
  • A more traditional sales video pitching your product


Video Testimonials Section

Show off up to 9 customer videos here, with optional pull quotes.


Customer Photos Section

Longer quotes from your most esteemed customers stand out especially well in this section.


Customer Quotes Section

Just have snippets of text? No problem! Add them here and make them shine. You can even pull excerpts from Yelp reviews or other sites and use the attribution fields to cite where they came from.


Twitter Testimonials Section

If your business uses Twitter, this kind of testimonial should be easy to find! Just browse your replies, mentions, and any hashtags you’ve created to find endorsements from your fan base.


Social Share Widgets

These aren’t testimonials, but they could help you gather more by expanding your social reach. A floating set of social buttons at the left and another set at the bottom of the page invite visitors to share with their networks.


Multiple Calls to Action

Different visitors need different amounts of information to feel comfortable opting in or making purchase, and this page serves them all. We’ve placed calls to action throughout the page to meet your leads right where they’re at.


Product Section

This is the second section on the page, where you’ll talk about the product that’s made all your happy customers so happy. You can include the most important details and any applicable pricing information alongside a picture of your product and a big, unmissable call-to-action button.

If you want to offer customers the chance to learn even more about your product or your company before making a decision, you can link to a page with more details at the bottom of this section.


Additional Calls to Action

A bar with a secondary call to action appears two more times in this template. Add a simple message here that reminds visitors what they should be getting from this page.


Interactive FAQ Section

For people who want to absorb every last detail before purchasing or opting in, we’ve built this interactive section. Visitors can simply click the plus sign beside each question they’re interested in, and the answer will drop down. And anyone who isn’t interested can easily keep their focus on the call-to-action button above.
