If you have LeadPages™, you don’t need to download this template – it’s already available to you inside your LeadPages account. Just log in and you’ll see how super easy it is to customize this page in seconds with no technical knowledge or skills, make it mobile responsive, integrate it with your email service provider or CRM, run A/B split tests, and publish it to Facebook, WordPress, or your own server.

We’ve talked a lot about generating leads from Facebook in the past. Oh.

Every page that you create in LeadPages can be published as a Facebook tab in just four clicks. For example, this page can be published to Facebook to Facebook as a Facebook tab. One, two, three, four. Now it’s published. It functions great and it will help you build your list. This webinar registration page also works great and can help you get registrations for your webinar while also building your list. One that’s missing from a number of these pages is they’re not constructed from the ground up while generate likes of Facebook for you and to build your list at the same time.

Before I introduce you to the page that we’re giving away today for free and the page that’s now available inside of LeadPages, I want to introduce you to Brian Moran. Brian Moran is the cofounder of Get10000Fans.com. Brian spends more money on Facebook advertising than anyone we know. He literally has spent millions of dollars tweaking and testing different landing pages. Brian is a heavy user of LeadPages and a fan of the product and he wanted to give back to the LeadPages community by allowing LeadPages users to use this template. So when you have a second, please go tell him thank you on his fan page or Twitter account which we’ll link to below this video.

Brian said this about the page that you’re about to see. This is the exact layout we used to grow Get 10000 Fans to 350,000 fans and 200,000 emails. Without further ado, I want to introduce you to the Brian Moran Facebook template. Now not only is this page absolutely gorgeous, one of the first things you might notice is that unlike these other pages I just showed you, this page looks like a Facebook page so it blends right in to the overall feel of Facebook. Also, unlike the other pages, this is the first built-for-Facebook page in LeadPages that you can host a video on and this really ups the power of this page. There’s a call to action that points directly to the like button so you not only can get more likes for your page but you can build your list with this opt-in here. You’re sort of killing two birds with one stone. You’re building your list and you’re getting more likes on Facebook. It’s a really powerful page that you should start using to capture your audience on Facebook.

Let’s customize this page inside of LeadPages. We’ll click on use this template. Now I’m going to opt-to leave the colors like Facebook so it blends well. However you can change any colors under the style settings and like with all pages inside of LeadPages, to edit anything simply click on it. Then you can change what you need and you’re done. Now I’m going to click on the subheadline here and finish that.

Now to link this page to your Facebook fan page, under the dynamic control section, you need to enter in the URL of your Facebook fan page. That way when someone clicks the like button, the like gets added to the correct page. Of course if you don’t want to change this, we’d love to have the likes for our page. From there I’m going to add a video and here you can use any kind of video that you have an embed code for. So I’m just going to embed a YouTube video. If you’d like to hide any features, simply click on it and then select hidden. I’m going to click on the points to edit them accordingly and I just have to click on them, edit my text, and then I’m done.

Now I need to add an integration with an email service provider so I’ll select that from the dropdown then I’ll select what list I want to add people to and now a great option at this point would be to use Facebook registration so people can opt-in to your list with one click. This means that since revealing this page on Facebook, they’ll already be logged into their Facebook accounts. When someone’s logged into Facebook and this option is enabled, when someone clicks to opt-in, the form is prepopulated with their information and as you can see here you can collect multiple form fields. This means that all they have to do is click a button to register making it as easy as possible for them to opt into your list.

Finally, I’ll name the page then save the page. When I click publish, you have several publishing options. However since this is made for Facebook, I’m going to choose publish to Facebook as a Facebook tab and I can do this in four clicks. Click add to Facebook page, click choose Facebook pages, select the page that you want to publish this page to and then click add page tab and there you have it. The page is now published on my Facebook page and looking great.

If you’re not a LeadPages customer, you will need to be a coder or hire a coder to make the downloadable template below work. For nonLeadPages customers it’s a bit more difficult to set up. Here’s what you’ll need to do if you’re not a LeadPages customer. If you’re a developer, click on the link below and opt-in to get download page and our LeadMagnet delivery system will deliver it to you. Modify HMTL and CSS using your coding skills or the coder you’ve hired, integrate it with your autoresponder in Facebook and then, get your landing page code you’ve generated and finally publish the page. So these are all the steps that you’ll need to take if you’re not a LeadPages customer.

If you are a LeadPages customer, you don’t need to do anything. This page is already available in the member’s area and you could start using it there.

Now before I sign off, I would like to ask you, if you had to describe this new page in a single word, what would it be? Drop it in the comments below this video and I’ll look forward to seeing that your answers are. If you’re not a LeadPages customer and you’d like to use this template, head to www.LeadPages.net to get LeadPages.

I’m Jeff Wenberg and have a glorious day.

Looks great! Thx How are you doing with getting Aweber aboard for the facebook registration. That should be really great!! thx

    • Hi Eric! Thanks. So glad you like this. The AWeber integration with FB registration has literally nothing to do with us. It has to do with the limitations of their API and terms of service. It’s not a matter of how we’re doing with AWeber… or asking about the status of the feature. We’ll build it as soon as AWeber lets us. And that might be *never*.

To anyone else reading this… this template and all of our other ones 100% work with AWeber. Eric is asking about using FB to pre-populate form fields.

      • Eric

Hi Clay, thx for your comment. Would it work when I upload a form of aweber with the facebook integration settings from aweber in the form? Also, I uploaded the page as HTML in another tab because I already have a Leadpage tab, but it then does not load the video?

  • G

I would have to remove the page I already published to Facebook correct? Cuz you can’t publish more than one to same FB page… Am I right?

    • Hi G. The FB terms of service limit each app to publishing one tab per facebook page. If we published more than one tab to any FB page we would be putting your page in jeopardy. And we don’t want to have your page taken down for a TOS violation.

  • Becca Niederkrom

When I try publishing to FB, it does not give me all my FB Page options. Not sure why this is happening

    • I’m not sure why either. You’re welcome to contact FB support or (if you’re our customer) you can contact our support.

  • NicholasKusmich

Any plans to set this up for the top converting Webinar Registration pages?
Would love to use it for webinars

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Hi Nicolas,
Glad you like the new page. No plans that I know of. However, this Facebook page integrates with GoToWebinar, so you could use this new page to promote your webinar right now on Facebook. It would be as simple as switching out the copy and headline on this page to encourage your fans to register. Also, you might even try using the video space on this page as a mini-trailer for your next webinar. (This mini-trailer could be a simple as a keynote video that lists the top 3-5 reasons to attend your webinar.)

Another idea: You can also publish any of the top performing webinar pages that we currently have inside LeadPages on Facebook right now — and start promoting your next webinar that way.

    • Yes! You can absolutely use this page to create get people registered for webinars.

      • NicholasKusmich

Hey Clay… I am currently using the “Webinar 2.0 Page (Two-Hosts & High CTA Button)” for webinar registration and would love to have some of the features of this new FB page (cta to like the page etc) integrated with it… is that in the works?

        • Honestly… I would use this page instead. You can use this page as well as any of our other opt-in pages… as webinar registration pages. In the context of FB this one will work better.

          • NicholasKusmich

Cool! I’ll give it a shot! Thanks brother! Appreciate all you do!

          • NicholasKusmich

Clay quick question… would this template (as a FB Page Tab) show up on Mobile?

  • Joe Simonds

  • thomas

    yeaaa buddy!!!

  • Owen McGab Enaohwo

Is there a way to get folks to first click on the like button first before they get access to the free report?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Good question. As Clay mentioned above, this page is optimized to get email addresses, not more likes for your fanpage. With any landing page, you have to choose one CTA and optimize to get it. In this case we optimized to get the email registration, which is a lot more important to most businesses than getting a like.

Can I pre-populate FB form fields using OAP?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Good question. At this time, it’s not possible to use the new Facebook feature that we released last week with Office Autopilot — due to Office Autopilot’s terms of service. So unfortunately, nothing we can do on our end to fix this.

  • The flying facebook hand made me jump! Nice template, really like the clean design.

  • Iaron

Can I create Facebook Ad directing users to this specific tab?

    • Josh

      Also interested in this

      • Iaron

        I once did this:

        – Created a tab as an app in Facebok.
        – Posted the URL for this particular tab in my fanpage timeline
        – Then, promoted this post

I’m not sure if this is the right way to do this.

        • Brian Moran

that’s 100% a great way to do it. you can also create a facebook ad that sends people to that tab 🙂

          • Iaron

            Great! Thanks a lot! 🙂

    • yes. you can create a FB ad that directs people to any tab.

  • TeleStory Pictures

This is amazing! What a great tool! Does this work seamlessly with Infusionsoft? Can I use these landing pages on multiple sites? As you can tell I’m not a LP customer, yet.

    • Jeff Wenberg

Yes LeadPages does work seamlessly with Infusionsoft. Also yes you can use these landing pages on as many sites as you want! Hope that helps.

  • Josh Hohman

This looks really awesome. Do you know if having a landing page within FB (as opposed to on a regular site) yields cheaper CPC rates when advertising on FB? Or any numbers on how the optin rate is affected? I know this is hard to answer without specifics, but any general idea? This looks like a fantastic idea to split test against my current landing page for FB Ads traffic.

    • Brian Moran

Hey Josh, actually yes, CPC (we’ve found) is lower sending ads back into Facebook. Here’s a screenshot from our Ads Manager: http://www.screencast.com/t/d9T7uUnWY

      • Brian Moran

        • Josh Hohman

Wow, that’s a huge difference. Definitely worth a split test. Thanks, Brian, I appreciate the response.

          • Brian Moran

No problem Josh, we’re actually already seeing a higher opt-in rate with this template too 🙂

          • Hey Brian and Clay, This looks awesome. I usually run sponsored posts with a call to action to opt into my website. Would you still run a sponsored post using this page, or what kind of FB ad works best for it? thanks! Kevin

          • Brian Moran

Hey Kevin, any kind of ad will work (news feed/right hand/etc) as long as the copy is good on the ad + landing page. 🙂 I would test a couple different ads and see which pulls best. (hint: use facebook’s conversion tracking)

Very nice template BUT you should allow the possibility of using different languages other than English at the facebook’s interfaces and buttons. When I subscribed to LeadPages I asked about if I can use the system completely in Spanish language and you answered me that everything could be used in Spanish, which is not entirely true. The “Register” facebook interface can not be translated, nor “like” buttons. Regards, Hugo.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great feedback Hugo – thank you. I’ll pass your comment on to our development team.

    • Kat Von Rohr

thanks Clay , for the quick response, the video is 350k Facebook Fans and 200k generate optins, made a similar page for more fans and leads, but I thought this fan be forced to see the content.

Video content that is on this page is released before making optin, or can program it to run only after the video optin on the same page? Thanks

  • Jim B

I’m a LeadPages customer – do you have any live or sample pages set up that we can look at. I get the “concept” but I’m kind of at a loss as to what text to put in until I see one in action

  • AG

Awesome. Thanks for continuing to push the envelope with your developments. Question: I don’t see the Facebook Registration option within my integration settings. Please advice.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks AG! To answer your question: The pre-populating Facebook registration option is available on LeadPages templates that offer multiple form fields (and all LeadBoxes). So if you’re not seeing the Facebook registration option in your integration settings, it’s likely that you’re on a template that doesn’t allow for multiple form fields. Also, our support team is standing by to help if you have any other questions.

      • AG

I’m on the Brian Moran Facebook page. From the video above, it showed
the FB integration. That’s why I commented on this thread. Please

I’m a LeadPages customer. Can you only have one LeadPages tab on your fan page at a time?

  • Rob Wilson

I’m a LeadPages customer. Can you only have one LeadPages tab on your fan page at a time?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Hi Rob, Yes, that’s correct. According to Facebook terms of service, any app (including LeadPages) can only publish one tab for each Facebook page. If we published more than one tab to any Facebook page we would be putting your page in jeopardy. And we don’t want to have your page taken down for a TOS violation.

    Now this is excellent!

  • Doreen O’Donovan

Got to ask. How do you get people to click on the Facebook tab – to see this awsome page?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great question. One of the easiest ways is to run Facebook ads that direct to this Facebook tab on your fanpage.

Any possibility of adding a like gate feature to what is a very cool page (lovin the Facebook pre population.) I understand the optimising for one action, but if the contebt is good enough, you can force a like and an email

    • Olivia Walsh

      • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks Olivia! Great to hear that you’re loving the new Facebook features. Also, thanks for the feedback on adding a like gate. We have a company policy that restricts me from commenting on future updates like this, so I can’t say for certain either way. But I appreciate the suggestion and I’ll be sure to pass it on.

  • Jim B

OK I set mine up and IT WORKS !
Now it’s stupid question time…(I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer)
How do I use it ? I mean do I post the link to the app somewhere to drive people to it?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Awesome! Great to hear that you’re already using this page. To answer your question: There are a couple ways to drive traffic to a Facebook tab. 1) You can run a Facebook ad campaign and link all your Facebook ads to this tab. 2) You can post the link to this Facebook tab on your Facebook timeline and then promote that specific post. Hope that helps.

    • Brian Moran

Hey Jim, exactly. Post that link in your status updates, maybe make a banner on your website that links to it, or try creating a facebook ad that points to it. 🙂

  • Lisa

Is it possible to change the picture for the tab to something other than the Leadpages logo? If so, how? Love Leadpages!

    • Jeff Wenberg

Lisa, yes it is totally possible. Click on the dropdown on the right and it will reveal all your tabs, as well as a pencil icon. Click the pencil and select edit. Hope that helps!

  • Dave

    Hey Clay,
I have a ATV Adventures business where we take people on ATV tours through zion national park http://zcort.com I’m excited to use your guys stuff for building up Facebook, but do you think email is something that is worth investing in since most of our customers may only come to zion once. Id love to here your thoughts or if any one else has any ideas.

  • AG

What’s the easiest way to use this page as a Fan Gate?

  • Bill

  • Maggie Percy

Fantastic! However, it appears that I can only add one tab per fan page from Lead Pages. Is that something that will change in the future?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks Maggie! To answer your question: According to Facebook terms of service, any app (including LeadPages) can only publish one tab for each Facebook page. If we published more than one tab to any Facebook page we would be putting your page in jeopardy. We don’t want to have your page taken down for a TOS violation, so this isn’t something that we can change in the future (unless Facebook’s TOS change that is).

  • Michael Leedy
