Hello, Clay Collins here, and in this video, I’m going to be giving you this landing page template. This landing page template was recently used in the Digital Marketer Authority ROI launched, and it is a template that was donated by the amazing, amazing marketer, Charles Kirkland, who’s a top 100 ClickBank Affiliate and has done some amazing stuff, but this template, which we’re giving to you, and was used in this recent Authority ROI launch, was based on this template donated by Charles Kirkland, and this template is getting a 72% conversion rate. We’re going to talk about why this works. We’re going to talk about how this works. We’re going to break this whole thing down, and I’m going to give you this template to download for free on your hard drive instantly at the end of this video. That’s what you have to look forward to in this episode.

So back in the day, I saw a LeadPages order come through from this guy, Charles Kirkland, and having heard his name before, I reached out to him. It turns out Charles is quite a remarkable marketer. Not only is he a great guy, but he’s a Top 100 ClickBank Affiliate, which is really significant because there are over 100,000 act of affiliates on ClickBank, and for two years in a row, Charles has been one of ClickBank’s Top Vendors, and in my circle of friends, Charles is really regarded as one of the most well-liked, and most ethical, and most respected marketers around. So it was really cool to see him snag LeadPages, and I really encourage you to check him out at charleskirklandblog.com. I’m going to link to that below.

So anyway, shortly after connecting with Charles, I learned about his famous 72% opt-in landing page, and here it is. It is deceptively simple, but it has been tested on a number of occasions, and Charles has arrived at this design after lots of tweaking and testing and split test. In fact, I did an entire interview with Charles that I’m going to post below that is about this design and how Charles came up with this design. One of the things that I’m grateful for is that as the co-founder of LeadPages, I am often approached by top marketers who want us to include within LeadPages their highest converting landing page, which I’m happy to do as long as they’re fine with me providing that template to all of our customers for free. So this is something that you get to benefit from as well.

So here’s Charles famous 72% conversion rate landing page, and here is our redesigned version of that page. For LeadPages customers, that is available either as the video fake-out squeeze page or the video squeeze page. A few things about this template, it is mobile responsive. As you can see here, completely mobile responsive, and using LeadPages you can instantly publish it to Facebook so it works great inside of Facebook. There are a few differences between Charles’ original page and our page. We made our page slightly bigger. So the headline’s bigger, the video area here is bigger. We also added a two-step opt-in process. So rather than the opt-in being directly available on the page, we made it a two-step opt-in process and put default text in here. In many cases, just moving from a one step opt-in process to a two-step opt-in process results in a 30% or more increase in conversion rate, and doing this in many cases adds a 5% increase in conversion rate. Anyway, we’re seeing this template get great results for people, and we believe that if it’s good enough to get a 72.3% opt-in rate for a Top 100 ClickBank Affiliate like Charles Kirkland, and it’s good enough to be used by Ryan Deiss in his recent Authority ROI launch, then it is good enough for you. It works with Facebook, it’s mobile responsive, it’s awesome, and it’s available to you today.

For advance users, encoders, you can download the template below. Again, if you are a coder, create the landing page using the html template that we’ve given you below. Use your coding skills to integrate that page with AWeber, MailChimp, OfficeAutoPilot, and Infusionsoft. You know, whatever you’re using, again, that requires some code. Grab your landing page code and use this static html app in Facebook to publish it to Facebook, or if you’re a WordPress user, you can do some WordPress coding and then publish the page. If you are a LeadPages customer, just find the template inside of LeadPages. You can adjust color settings and fonts and all that jazz. Go find the logo on the page and replace it with your logo. You can swap out this image and replace it with whatever image you want to use or you can use the image that we provide to you. All of the texts and

everything can be easily changed. It works with a variety of languages to integrate it with your opt-in form. Just decide what service you want to use. We’re using AWeber here. Click on the list you want to integrate it with. You also want to integrate it with GoToWebinar. That also works. Click on ‘Okay,’ then click on ‘Save to my Pages.’ Save the page, and when you’re done, you can instantly publish using our hosting. You can publish it to your WordPress installation. You can publish it to your Facebook page or you can download the page, put it on your server, and edit it however you like.

Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed this episode. I’m going to sign out for now. Enjoy the template and have an amazing beautiful day. Goodbye.

Clay, this looks great, but my question is this: Given that you’ve published a bunch of “best ever” squeeze pages lately, how do you recommend people decide between them? Currently we’re using a slight variation of the one you posted a few months back (your image had the woman sitting, looking at the opt in box, we have a hand gesturing towards it). It gets us about a 45% conversion (after people have done the first click through to see it), but I’m wondering if this one would work better. Maybe we could keep that, but update the text and background image to match the concepts on this one more…

    Any thoughts?

    • Hi Piers . . . great question.

We do want our landing pages to be “best of the best” landing pages. They all serve different purposes. Some of the “best” are for webinars, others are for giving out free reports. Etc. Google has free split testing software called “Google Content Experiments” and you can split test different pages against each other to see what works best for your content in your business.

You said “Maybe we could keep that, but update the text and background image to match the concepts on this one more… Any thoughts?”

My thoughts are to try this and split test :-). If something works well, then stick with it.
