You can use the same phone number or different numbers for different campaigns if you choose. 2) These phone numbers are just for receiving texts, not phone calls. 3) Yes! You are correct. You can continuously use the same phone number, but the your unique identifier keyword creates your different campaigns. Hope that helps!

    Can LeadDigits also capture the phone number used to text the email address? I know it’s not setup to broadcast text messages. I just want to know if it stores the phone numbers of subscribers. The company I work for could use them to follow up with leads via phone in addition to email.

      Hi John, Great question. When you use LeadDigits, your Email Service Provider (ESP) natively captures the phone numbers for you. All ESPs that officially integrate with LeadPages capture phone numbers when you use LeadDigits with the exception of ActiveCampaign and SendReach. Hope that helps!

I absolutely love the idea of this, but I’m just trying to get that figured out.. Also, I have a question about the sub accounts.. If I have multiple clients that I work with and all of them wanted to do it, could I create multiple lead digit offers under my one account, instead of having to setup a different sub account for each client?

      Hi Spencer! Great questions. 1) Currently, you can only use LeadDigits to collect leads, not broadcast text messages yet. However, this functionality will be available in the future. 2) Yes, you can set up multiple LeadDigit campaigns for your clients inside your main account.       • Hi Kat, I had the same question as well. Before I watched the video, I initially thought that LeadDigits would offer SMS broadcast texting campaigns. This would be my main use for wanting to sign up–do you have any timeframe in mind for when this functionality might be added? I’d of course prefer to sign up now during the promotion, but also don’t want to pay extra if I wouldn’t be utilizing the feature for several months. Thanks for letting me know!

    I currently have a pro annual membership and am a bit unclear, please clarify. I currently use Leadpages to publish landing pages for several clients. I publish the pages to the client’s servers and domain names. Will I be able to use individual leaddigits sms for all my clients?

      Bob, good question. At this point you can create up to 10 campaigns at one time. So if you have 10 clients you could do 1 campaign for each, or 2 for 5 clients, etc.

          Bob, that’s almost correct. You can run 10 campaigns concurrently, with 10 unique text identifiers. We currently give you three different phone numbers to choose from — two 10-digit numbers and one 5-digit short code. (With another shortcode coming in the near future.) You can use the same phone number or different numbers for different campaigns if you choose.

            Yes you could have one campaign on one phone number with the identifier LeadDigits. You could have one campaign on the short code with LeadDigits, or you could have another campaign on the short code with FreeReport, and so on. You can have up to 10 campaigns going at any one time. Those 10 campaigns can use any combo of identifiers and numbers.

  • Excited to learn! I’ve been piecing together a somewhat-awkward thank-you page that directs people to a third-party opt-in service, and then having to make sure to import my LeadPage lists over to that service each time I sent out a campaign. I’m hoping this will integrate much better and save me money in the long run as the third-party services are not inexpensive if you’re sending out frequent messages. (As I do daily during my 14-Day Fitness Jumpstart to encourage my clients–daily messages add up!)

      Hi there, it sounds like you’re sending out text message blasts. At this point LeadDigits doesn’t have that functionality. It only adds people to your email list.     Love LeadPages – but something not mentioned in video and also on the pages here – is LeadDigits CTIA and TCPA compliant – the examples dont seem to have the obligatory messages to comply with the “rules” to capture SMS numbers and send messages.

        Used the DEMO example above and received the messages. Looks nice, but none of the “MSG & DATA Rates may apply”, “txt STOP to STOP”, etc. My understanding is that TCPA and CTIA require this to be compliant with an OPT-IN via SMS, especially if (as mentioned elsewhere) you can later use this list to send SMS messages – only exceptions are emergencies (tornado, hurricane, etc.) or other public service announcements.

          Hey Loren, I checked with our engineers to make sure everything was inline and they checked off on everything. We aren’t actually able to send texts to these numbers at the moment, so the phone is only functioning as a way to get the email to your email list, then it moves over to email.   • I’m hearing that we need to upgrade to get “Lead Digits and the bonuses.” I’m current Pro user on the 2-year plan. Will I get Lead Digits without the bonuses if I don’t upgrade? When will they be added to the account?

      Hey Jeffrey, you would need to upgrade to enterprise annual to get LeadDigits and the bonuses. Without upgrading LeadDigits is only available at the enterprise level. Thanks!

      • That really disappoints me. It removes the possibility of a small business like mine using a very useful feature. I’m a public speaker and could really use this functionality. But I’m already paying way too much for LeadPages. Frankly, it seems like a bit of a strong-arm tactic to me. It’s the kind of move that makes me reconsider if I want to do business with a company – especially one that takes up such a large part of my small business marketing tools budget. 🙁

      Hey Jefferson, LeadDigits will currently work on any mobile devices capable of sending text messages to U.S. numbers, but international data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan functions. We will be rolling out international numbers in the future, but I can’t say when or what countries will be rolled out at this time. Thanks!
