Announcing LeadBoxes™: The Biggest Update To LeadPages… Since The Launch Of LeadPages Itself

Videos About The Importance Of 2 Step Opt-ins

When you sort the top converting landing pages in LeadPages, you’ll notice that out of the top nine, all but two have two-step opt-in processes. Two-step opt-in processes occur on pages when someone clicks on the opt-in and this pop-up appears. We’ve published extensively about why having two-step opt-ins results in such a great difference in conversion rate. In fact, we found that moving from a one-step opt-in to a two-step opt-in results in a relative increase in conversion rate of about 30% and we’ll put links to some important videos about two-step opt-ins below this video if you’d like a refresher.

So back to this opt-in box, we thought why not take this box and allow users to post it anywhere? We’re super excited to announce the biggest release for LeadPages since the release of LeadPages itself and that’s the release of LeadBoxes. LeadBoxes is the response to user feedback and it’s something one of our advisors Pat Flynn encouraged us to create. LeadBoxes can be used to capture email addresses from the sidebar button like this from a link and a blog post like this or from a guest post on someone else’s blog. Here you can see someone left a guest post on our blog and directly from this post on our blog, they can collect opt-ins for their list. A great place to add this is in the bio section as they did here. These LeadBoxes can be installed and used anywhere that you can post a link. LeadBoxes doesn’t just work in WordPress, it can be used inside of WordPress, outside of WordPress, on HMTL pages or anywhere that you can have an HMTL link, you can use LeadBoxes.

To create a LeadBox, just go to the my LeadBoxes section in the top menu. Click on create new LeadBox. To edit things, just click on them. So I’m going to add some copy to the headline. I can change the font, the letter spacing and the size if I want. I can customize the look and feel two make the box look however I want it. If for example I wanted to add a different color of background, I can change that in the forms style section along with adding a border if I wanted to. I can change the button text as well as the color of the button and really make it look how I want. If I wanted to add a tracking code from an analytics service such as Google Analytics, I could put that in here. I can hook it up to any integration we support and multiple form feeds can easily be used here as well. I can drag and drop these fields however I want them and turn some off if I don’t want all of them to display.

LeadBoxes also works with GoToWebinar so when someone opts in on this box, they’ll be registered for an upcoming webinar. So when someone opts in, they’re not only opting into your list but they’re registering for the webinar. Now once you’re done customizing, just name the LeadBox and save it then just click publish. Now copy this code and from there you can paste it on any blog, website or anywhere that accepts HTML links. Now when someone clicks on this link, they’ll now see the LeadBox that we just created.

LeadBoxes can be made to connect to quite a few things. For example if you wanted to have a LeadBox in a side bar and opt in that way, you can easily do that by pasting the code into a sidebar widget. Now on the page when I click on this the LeadBox appears. In blog posts like this where we’re giving away landing page templates, this can be made to hook up to LeadBoxes by pasting the LeadBoxes code in here. Now on the page when I click here, the LeadBox comes up.

Now let’s say I was going to write a guest post for the LeadPages blog, which by the way we’re accepting guest posts if you’re interested but let’s say I’m going to do that. In my bio I can paste the LeadBoxes code and it will say click here to subscribe to my newsletter. So when someone reads my post and they like what I say, they’ll see in my bio at the bottom that they can opt in to my list directly from the blog where I’ve done a guest post.

According to our co-founder Clay, in six months there will be as many LeadBoxes deployed on the internet as LeadPages and everyone here at LeadPages is super excited about this release. If you’d like to implement LeadBoxes in your business, this is available to all LeadPages customers immediately.

If you’re not a LeadPages customer and you’d like to use LeadBoxes, go to

I’m Jeff Wenberg. Have a great day.

  • Love it guys. Good job. Is it possible to add a lead magnet to one of these?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great question Bryan! This functionality isn’t available yet, but it will be. In fact, adding lead magnets is one of several updates that we’re rolling out for LeadBoxes soon. Stay tuned! 🙂

  • Valerio Fioretti

YESSS!!! WOW!! Incredible, it is EXACTLY a feature that I was looking for.
    LeadPages #1

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Excellent!! Thanks Valerio! 😀

  • Steven Cooper

I have totally been waiting for something like this. I even contacted Optin Skin to see if they had anything like this. They had no idea what I was talking about. I dont really need optin skin now. Thanks, you guys rock.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Haha! That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing this. 😀

  • Hey – the ability to pop this on any link – like in a guest blog post bio – is huge. I suspect it will get a big optin increase from immediate capture rather than click through to website then opt in. Nice.

    • Kat Von Rohr

We think so too! 🙂 Thanks Ian!

  • Rob

BOOM BABY!!!!!!! This is exactly what I was looking for (and actually thought already existed in leadpages) but i signed up at the perfect time!!!!

    • Kat Von Rohr

      NICE!! Thanks Rob! 😀

  • Vish

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Thanks Vish! 🙂

  • Michael Logozar

How do you integrate this with giving away a free download when they subscribe?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great question Michael. Soon, you will be able to send lead magnets to your prospects when they opt-in for your list from your LeadBoxes. (This is one of several updates we’re rolling out soon for LeadBoxes.)

However, in the meantime, you can always include your download in the first email that you send prospects from your email service provider (like AWeber etc). If you have any further questions about LeadBoxes, our customer support team would be happy to help you with anything you need. Hope that helps.

  • Nate

I was crossing my fingers that this was what you were doing today. Brilliant.

    • Kat Von Rohr

That’s so great to hear! Thanks Nate! 🙂

  • Guy Porter

Un-Be-Frickin-Lievable. You guys have revolutionized the field once again.

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Nice! Thanks Guy! 🙂

  • Marty

Oh this is awesome, I can’t wait to start using this. You all are Jenius’ with a capital “J” :-).

But seriously the next level of this is creating a link I can embed into my FB Post that does the exact same thing. That would be killer.

Call to action in a FB post with an html link and BAM straight into our lists.

Don’t even know if it’s possible, but I am sure you guys and gals will figure it out. Thanks for pushing the envelope and making all our lives soo much easier. You all rock.

    Keep being awesome.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Haha thanks for the fist bump Marty! 🙂

Actually, you can create a link to a LeadBox on Facebook. All you need to do is grab the “” link from your LeadBoxes code, when you set up your first LeadBox. Then you can post that link anywhere, including on Facebook, and it will link through to your LeadBox.

However, be advised: When you post your LeadBox link on Facebook, your LeadBox will open in a new browser window, rather than appear above your Facebook screen. That happens specifically because of how Facebook is coded. So unfortunately, nothing we can do to fix this on our end. Hope that helps! 🙂

      • Marty

I actually have another question as I do see how the facebook usage is possible.

Would you guys ever consider “Lead Buttons” where instead of the html link, I can just have the optin button, that way I can put the button anywhere, even if it’s not on a leadpage itself?

Maybe this is possible now by replacing the text with image html? I don’t know…just a thought. Thanks for being awesome!

        • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks for the question. Technically, you can link a LeadBox to an image or sidebar. So you could also create a button image for your site that you could link a LeadBox to

Hope that helps a bit. If you have any other questions about how to link LeadBoxes to images, our amazing support team would love to help you out.

  • Seth Ali

Can we display a photo on the Lead Box as well?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great question Seth! You can’t display photos inside LeadBoxes yet — but you will be able to soon. We have several updates like this that we’re rolling out for LeadBoxes. Stay tuned! 🙂

  • Craig

    Does it work inside Facebook?

    • It’s working for me to post the link in Facebook — depends what you mean though. Here’s what I did

      • Interview Academy

Carol, I went to your FB page but I don’t see a lead box. Did I miss something?

        • The box itself doesn’t show until you click on the link to the box. As you likely know, we cannot post HTML code in Facebook, so post the link to your LeadBox.

If I were to do it again, I’d use an image. I just wanted to see if it would work just to post the link.

I’m a “jump in and see how this works” kinda person, rather than a techie, so the people with skill in this area are better able to help with strategy and tips.

          • Jim Munchbach

Just clicked on that link – it works. I see how it works. Nice!

      • Kat Von Rohr

Great question. Carol is right. Yes, you can post the link to a Leadbox on Facebook or any other site that you control. (You can get this link from your code when you set up your first LeadBox.)

However, when you post your LeadBox link on Facebook, your LeadBox will open in a new browser window, rather than appear above your Facebook screen. That happens specifically because of how Facebook is coded. So unfortunately, nothing we can do to fix this on our end. Hope that helps! 🙂

      • Jim Munchbach

Yeah, I don’t see what you did 😉 But I’m excited to see that it works on FB. I’m just getting started with InfusionSoft so I’m not yet doing FB ads. Thank you, Carol!

  • Joe Lavery

Great work! This will let me create my own custom pages but still take advantage of leadpages amazing features like gotowebinar and aweber integration etc. Very awesome update!

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Nice! Thanks Joe! 🙂

  • Can I integrate a lead box into a Facebook post?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great question.

  • stewkelly

Nice work Clay. This will be an extremely useful feature.

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Great to hear! Thanks! 🙂

  • Chris

Bad Ass! I am a lead pages user and love it. I didn’t even realize I needed this feature until I saw how lead boxes work. Amazing. Especially nice since I have non-wordpress sites.

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Awesome!! Thanks Chris!! 🙂

  • This. Is. AWESOME!

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Thanks Heidi!! 🙂

      • So I could include one of these links in a guest post bio on another site?

        • Kat Von Rohr

          YES! Absolutely! 🙂

  • mildmanneredmillions

time to put a lead box in your sidebar 😀 😀 😀

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Haha! Yes, it is. 🙂

  • Nick Drzayich

could this work in an email?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great question. Yes, you could link to a LeadBox in an email. However, your LeadBox would open in another browser, rather than pop up above your email screen. So in effect, it would work just like a regular landing page. Hope that helps.

      • Nick Drzayich

I’m seeing it open in new window no matter where I put it…. on a widget for example how do I get the form to pop over the webpage instead of in a new window/tab?

        • Kat Von Rohr

Good question. The fastest way to get this taken care of is to go straight to our amazing support team at and they’ll help you out with this asap.

  • Adewale

This is really huge. I have been thinking of how to implement this and was just going to suggest it to you guys. It’s like you read my mind. Thanks a million.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Awesome!! So glad to hear that Adewale!

  • Alyssa Solberg Granlund

    Awesome!! Love it!

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Excellent! Thanks Alyssa! 🙂

  • That’s awesome and just at the right time for me. Thanks!

    • Kat Von Rohr

Sweet! Glad to hear it Andrea!

  • ebasebiz

Good news! I had to go through that twice. My head was spinning. Perhaps the RPMs of that video were a tad too fast for me to digest in one view.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks! (And thanks for the feedback on the video – we appreciate it!)

  • Mark

FINALLY!!!!! man, this is what i’ve been waiting for ….

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Sweet! Thanks Mark! 🙂

  • Dr. Jessica

Totally completely radically exactly what I wanted. Than you!

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Awesome! Thank you Jessica! 🙂

  • Maggie Percy

OMG! I was hoping it would be this. Truly epic! You guys really deliver!

    • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks Maggie!! Appreciate the kind words. 🙂

  • guys this is pretty sweet, now just one thing, can you allow us to send leadmagnets from leadboxes? 😉

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great question Gael! This functionality isn’t available yet, but it will be. In fact, adding lead magnets is one of several updates that we’re rolling out for LeadBoxes soon. Stay tuned! 🙂

  • That is awesome and amazing! 🙂

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Thanks Linda! 🙂

  • Karen at YourGo2Gals

this is freaking brilliant!!! logging into my LP account now to implement immediately!! 🙂 You have just made my life sooooooo much easier and the work I do for my clients will be that much better!

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Awesome!! Thanks Karen! 🙂

  • Dave

Slick! Now if only the rest of the templates were as editable as this I’d be in heaven;-))

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Thanks Dave! 🙂

    • Willie

      Yes! I want that feature!

      • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks for the request! If you’re an annual member of LeadPages, you can download the html for any our templates and customize these pages any way you like. Hope that helps. 🙂

  • Clay and Leadpages Team. You guys are amazing! I have been looking for this exact product for the past 2 weeks… This was the one function that I wished Leadpages had and was the only thing that kept me from buying it before. Now I am going to buy the 1 year subscription right away. Thank so much I have already started sharing and recommending to all my friends.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Awesome! Glad to hear it Anthony!! 🙂

  • donnaandtora

I have officially joined “Geekdom” as I am very excited about this! ~ Tora

    • Kat Von Rohr

Haha! Love it Donna. Thanks! 🙂

  • Andrea H

Wow…Clay! You guys always over deliver. I have been following you from the very beginning and been a client since and LOVE you guys.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Awesome! Thanks for the kind words Andrea! 🙂

  • Stefan

    Great work crew! 🙂
Will there be different styles for these boxes as well?

Would be awesome to have the possibility to show a picture of the
Leadmagnet in form of a eBook-Cover or Video for example …

… but this is already on your To-Do-List, right? 😉

    • Jo Neele

Yep – that would be great to have! Thumbs up.

      • Kat Von Rohr

Great question! YES, this is on our To-Do List! We have several updates that we’re rolling out for LeadBoxes soon. Stay tuned! 🙂

  • Sarah Ben

OMG! This is FANTASTIC! I am about to launch my site so this is the perfect timing! changing all my sign-up boxes right now!

    Keep rocking guys! M

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great! Glad to hear it Brett! Let us know how it’s working for you. 🙂

  • Love it! Just tested by posting to Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter using HootSuite.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Awesome!! Thanks for sharing Carol! Let us know how it’s working for you! 🙂

  • This is just so fantastic!!! You all have such great products and an incredible team! Is is awesome how you also how you listen to your community as well. This all makes for a great company!!! Thanks!!!!!!

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Awesome! Thanks Scott! 🙂

  • josephbushnell

Any chance that in the future you could have subscribe to podcast, YouTube channel, like on Facebook versions of LeadBoxes?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Good question. However, I’m not 100% sure I understand what you’re asking. If you wouldn’t mind, please give me a more detailed account of what you’re looking for (including step-by-step instructions or example links), and I’d be happy to ask our developers about it. Thanks!

  • Man, I’ve been waiting for this feature ever since I signed up for LeadPages…and here it is! This is something I would have never expected to get for free either 😉

    • Kat Von Rohr

Awesome! Thanks Benji. Although, technically LeadBoxes is not “free” — you do have to be a customer. 😀

      • Yeah…I meant a free add-on ;). Sorry if I confused anyone!

        • Kat Von Rohr

No worries! I got it — just posted that to clear up any confusion. 🙂

  • jrfent

SHIBBEY!!! I’m pretty excited to try this! Thanks for innovating again and again!

    • Kat Von Rohr

Nice! We’re excited too! Let us know how it works for you! 🙂

  • Tristram

Well thats just gangster isn’t it!!!!

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Haha! Thanks Tristram! 🙂

  • james_zedd

This is a great new function! I wanted to ask whether or not LeadBoxes can be used as a pop up when a visitor first comes to your website?

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great question! Right now LeadBoxes isn’t a “popup” … it’s more of a “click-up.” That is, it doesn’t proactively introduce on the visitor’s experience. It only appears when a users prompts its appearance. Actually, we have found that 2-step opt-ins like this (when a user prompts the appearance of an opt-in form) has significantly increased opt-in results. That’s actually what inspired us to create LeadBoxes in the first place. 🙂

      • james_zedd

If there is a pop up version of these kind of boxes, consider me a customer for life.

  • David Farrell-Shaw

Excellent it’s been around for a while as widgets for various services but I love the simplicity of your system. We’ll done!

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Thanks David! 🙂

  • Susan Lassiter-Lyons

Really great! I just set one up and would like to add it to an image in my sidebar but I’m not sure how to modify the code to make my image clickable so that the LeadBox pops.

    • Kat Von Rohr

That’s awesome that you’re already using LeadBoxes! 🙂 If you have any questions like this, our customer support team is standing by to help. You can contact support directly at and they’ll help you out with this asap.

  • Rob

I’d like to see some kind of Call to Action integration with Leadpages but this is a good enhancement.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks for the feedback Rob. We appreciate it. 🙂

  • Niki Bullas

So glad I purchased Lead Pages when I did. Even though I’m a relative newbie I knew enough to know that this product was awesome and it’s getting better all the time. Love and respect Pat Flynn, so it’s nice to see he had a hand in this. Thanks guys. Glad to be part of this scene.

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Nice! Thanks Niki. 🙂

  • Christian Filipina SiteOwner

It’s a nice feature, and thank you! But I’m a bit confused why you conflate “single-step/double-step” with “leadboxes” which seem to be completely different issues.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great question! It’s similar to a 2-step opt-in process because your prospects have to click on a link (on your blog, in a sidebar, etc.) to show their interest in your list, before they see a LeadBox that allows them to opt-in. So in effect, you’re asking your prospects to take two steps – click a link, and then opt-in through your LeadBox. Let me know if that doesn’t make sense. 🙂

  • Awesome guys, great new feature!

    • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks John! Let us know how it works for you. 🙂

  • Stuart Murray

That’s very clever and another reason to be a Leadpages customer 🙂

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Nice! Thanks Stuart!

  • Another great feature from the innovative people at Leadpages! I will link to an image of the LeadBox on my WordPress blogposts, but I am wondering if images will be built into the html code of the next iteration….??

    • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks Stephen! Yes, we’re building in the ability to use images in LeadBoxes. Look for more updates on this coming soon!

  • Chris

Where is the proof in data that 2 step opt-ins convert better than 1 step? It makes no sense.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Fair enough. We have found that to be the case based on our own in-house data for own list and the lists of our customers. However, it may not be the case for your specific audience. I recommend you test a two-step opt-in vs. a one-step opt-in process and see how it works for your list.

      • Chris

        I have and opt-in rates are 75% lower with a 2 step opt-in.

        • Kat Von Rohr

Fair enough. As I mentioned, every audience is different. But if you’re not interested in using LeadBoxes or 2-step opt-ins, there are plenty of 1-step opt-in pages inside LeadPages to choose from.

  • This is truly awesome! I had been wishing that I could use the two-step process from my sidebar opt-ins. Thank you!

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Awesome! Thanks Jeffrey!

  • Awesome stuff LeadPages team, I am rolling up the sleeves and getting the this new feature implemented first thing tomorrow morning…

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great! Let us know how it works for you Kosio!

  • Tom Nunamaker

I’ll have to play with LeadBoxes but it looks like you can use LeadBoxes as the first step in a multi-step order process. Set the Thank You page URL to step 2 in the process. This will be huge if it works. Thanks for your hard work!

    • Kat Von Rohr

Awesome! Let us know how it’s working for you Tom!

  • luis

the html dont´t work when you dowload the file is only one and if you trai to upload the file don´t work if you send a email to the suport they said the you have to send the link is no link the file don´t work well is good product but the suport is not realy good

    • Kat Von Rohr

Sorry for the hassle Luis. Please let us know how we can help you further and we would be happy to assist you.

  • Guest

This is genius! This is why I’ve aligned myself with this company – cos they know how to stay ahead of the game 🙂

    • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks! Appreciate the kind words! 🙂

  • Michael Shreeve

This is AWESOME! My only question is how do you make that sexy little sidebar opt-in you used in your example (the one that says “Join Over 40,000 subscribers who get fresh content from us on a weekly basis”)? Because that looks amazing.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks Michael! Our customer support team would love to help you out with that. As a customer, you can contact support directly at: and they’ll help you out with this asap.

      • Michael Shreeve

awesome! thanks for the tip. Will contact them now!

  • Aaron

You’re not using Two-step optin/ lead box on this page…

    • Kat Von Rohr

Good observation. 🙂 We plan on using LeadBoxes throughout our site soon. But this week, our entire team been focused on getting LeadBoxes to our customers asap, rather than using them ourselves. 🙂

  • Martin

I only joined you guys 4 days ago as I got sick and tierd of all. these generic landing pages that you cant change any of the text on. They’re a waist of time as you can only target them to whats written on the landing page and thats not good enough.

(you should always have your target market keywords you picked on your landing page).

Now with you guys I can target any kw’s I want. I thought that was awesome enough but then I get an email about LeadBoxes. Yeh Baby, Yaba Daba Doo!!!!!!

I might just become a life member lol

Thanks guys I know exactly what to do with the LeadBoxes, watch my leads sky rocket.

    • Kat Von Rohr

That’s great to hear! Thanks Martin! 🙂

  • since I’m doing a few revamps to my website and how I ask for subscribers, the timing on this release could not have been more perfect for me. thanks for keeping it fresh and innovative!

    • Kat Von Rohr

So great to hear! Thanks Joyce! 🙂

  • lisaleague

    This is super exciting.

What happens on mobile – is the pop up form responsive? Will it fit properly in the mobile browser?

Some of the pop up or light box style optins like this drive me crazy because I can’t close them when right hand “x” to close the box is outside of the browser window. However, if the pop up is responsive this would not be an issue.

    • Kat Von Rohr

YES! LeadBoxes definitely work on mobile. However, to save you from any pop up or light box issues on your mobile devices, your LeadBoxes will simply open as a standalone page, rather than as a light box. We did that to ensure that you can use LeadBoxes on any mobile device without any problems.

  • JP

LOVE IT! I’ve wanted this for a while!

    2 Questions:

Will you add split testing for the boxes?

In Analytics for lead boxes, does it count Uniques when the link is viewed or when it is clicked? If not, it’s hard to compare two step and one step.

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Thanks JP! 🙂
      1. YES! Split testing is definitely one of the features we’re rolling out soon for LeadBoxes.
      2. Need to check on that for you. Will post an update when I have one.

      • JP

Thanks! I look forward to it.

I realized that I may not have been clear with that second question. So, just to clarify – It would be hard to compare my 1 step opt-in with the 2 step leadbox if the conversion rate that is calculated in Analytics is calculated only after someone clicks the link for the leadbox. That would create an artificially high opt-in rate and we’d be comparing apples and oranges.

        Thanks again!

        • Kat Von Rohr

          Hey JP!
I checked with our developers for you, and the analytics tool counts uniques only when a prospect clicks on the link and the LeadBox is displayed. I hear what you’re saying about comparing apples to oranges, but that’s the best way we’ve found to track this data. Hope that helps.

If you have any further questions, our customer support staff is standing by to help. You can contact our entire team through the support link in the members area.

  • Can I say how indispensable I find leadpages? I love all the surprises you keep rolling out for us.

    • Kat Von Rohr

      Nice! Thanks Mary! 🙂

  • Avelardo

This is great news. Congratulations on your development, I will definitely be using this.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Trying to add this to a sidebar opt-in button on my website but not having any luck. Can you recommend a sidebar opt-in widget I can use with it (like the one in the video) where, when I click the “Join Me” button (like you have in the video), the code will link it to the LeadBox? Thx!

    • Kat Von Rohr

Great question! Our customer support team would love to help you out with that. As a customer, you can contact support directly at: and they’ll help you out with this asap.

Can i do the same design box over in my blog with your new tool.

    • Kat Von Rohr

Thanks for the question. My apologies but I’m not sure what you mean by “the same design box.” If you mean LeadBoxes, then YES! You can definitely use LeadBoxes in your blog. If you mean something else, please clarify and I’d be happy to answer for you.

i don’t know where else i can paste the leadbox code except my own site or my friend site.because all those big websites or gust post sites don’t allow you to insert javasscript. leadbox is depend on javascript .

    • Kat Von Rohr

Good question. Yes, if you want your LeadBox to appear as a light box, you do need javascript. That might restrict you to your blog, your friends’ blogs, your sidebars, or anywhere else on your site. However, you can also post the URL to your LeadBox anywhere and your LeadBox will open in a standalone page. This allows you to post a LeadBox on social media, the big guest blog posts or anywhere else that can accept an html link.

For directions on how to just post the URL from your LeadBox (and have it open in a standalone page), see our Q&A about LeadBoxes here:

I am interested in checking out leadboxes ala carte. The video says this is possible. I went to and see zero on there about leadboxes as a stand alone. Can I purchase this solo or not? If so, where do I find the info? Thanks!

    • Hi LinRP …great question. Thanks for stopping by.

The video does not say that LeadPages is offered a la carte. LeadBoxes is offered as part of the LeadPages platform.

      Warm regards,

  • Mark

Just in testing mode with LeadBoxes on one of our blog posts to get the wording and placement right. We don’t have a ton of traffic (yet ;)) so don’t get inundated..Anyway, while still tweaking it we’ve had 2 sign ups via LeadBoxes! How cool is that!

    • Kat Von Rohr

That’s awesome to hear! Thanks Donna!! 🙂 By the way, would you mind sharing where you’re posting your LeadBox? We’d love to see how you’re using LeadBoxes on your blog.
